Tyler Tanner is a Partner in the Miami office of Hamilton, Miller & Birthisel, LLP. He is Board Certified in Admiralty & Maritime Law by the Florida Bar. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Florida International University College of Law, where he teaches Admiralty Law. He previously served two years as Chair of the Admiralty Law Committee of the Florida Bar, and for the last eight consecutive years, he has been recognized as a “Rising Star” in Super Lawyers Magazine for Transportation & Maritime Law. Mr. Tanner earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, and has practiced maritime law for the defense exclusively ever since.
